What types of events can be held at Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències?

The Hemisfèric, the Museu de les Ciències, the Umbracle, and the outdoor areas around the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències have spaces where you can hold conferences and conventions, company meetings, awards ceremonies, product debuts, elegant parties, dinners, cocktail parties and receptions, press conferences, exclusive company sessions, etc.

Is there an exclusive list of approved providers?

At Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, we only have an exclusive list of approved catering providers. For other services, please contact the Events Department.

How can I reserve one of the complex's spaces?

Reservations will be made considering the availability of the different spaces.

Is it necessary to visit the spaces before making a reservation?

For organizational purposes, we feel it is a good idea to make a visit to see the spaces before confirming any event. Doing so will allow you to get to know the facilities beforehand and determine the best space and equipment for each event.

Is audiovisual equipment included in the rates?

Audiovisual equipment is included in the Santiago Grisolía Auditorium and in the multi-purpose room at the Museu de les Ciències, as well as in the cinema room at the Hemisfèric.

Can the furniture in the rooms be modified?

The layout of the furniture can only be modified in the multi-purpose room at the Museu de les Ciències and in the press rooms. These modifications must be paid for by the organizer.

When and how is payment to be made?

The payment conditions are as follows:

50% is to be paid as a deposit at the time when the event is confirmed.  Reservations will be final when the reservation document is signed.

The remaining 50% is to be paid when the contract is signed.

Can stands or other structures be set up in the rented spaces?

Stands can be set up at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències facilities in areas set aside for said purposes, always taking into account the space conditions and event requirements.

What are the fees for parking for clients and suppliers?

PROVIDER / SUBCONTRACTOR PARKING FEES: Minimum fee = € 2.30 / day.

How much time can buses be on site without the parking fee being charged?

Maximum of 15 minutes.

Is the night rate applicable to everyone in the same way?

It is required to pay the maximum daily fee for providers and subcontractors in order to spend the night in the parking area.
