Parallel paths. Rogério Timóteo
La Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències is hosting the exhibition entitled 'Parallel Paths,' made up of ten iron sculptures by artist Rogério Timóteo. This is a free exhibition that is located along the Umbracle's Promenade of Art and can be visited until March 30, 2017.
Rogério Timóteo has chosen the human figure as the leitmotiv of his work. He intrinsically exploits form through the use of simple lines with a general aura of unfinished work which invites the viewer to come inside through open narratives.
The artist Rogério Timóteo was born in Sintra (Portugal) in 1967. He has been working as a solo artist since 1989. He has done 33 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 200 collective exhibitions in Portugal and the rest of the world. His work is present in private collections in Portugal, Germany, Australia, Austria, Canada, Scotland, Spain, the USA, France, Holland, England, Ireland, Luxembourg, Poland, Switzerland, Uruguay, and Italy.
