In the main passageway of the Science Museum, Santiago Grisolía has his own star in the 'Paseo de los Científicos' (‘Walk of Prominent Scientists), itself a nod in the direction of Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Here, visitors can follow a line of stars that represent some of the most important scientists of our times who have visited this museum or who have some rapport with it.


Príncipe de Asturias Award for Scientific and Technical Research (1990), shared with Salvador Moncada for their work in highly diverse areas of biochemistry, principally regarding the enzymology of the metabolism of nitrogen in relation to the urea cycle and the breaking down of pirimidines.
