Conference. The perfect theory

Conference "The perfect theory" within the cycle of Astronomy. Free access, prior registration, will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in the Santiago Grisolía Auditorium of the Science Museum.

Pedro Ferreira, an expert professor in Astrophysics, offers a popular history of Einstein's theory of relativity. He describes the magnificence of his discovery and expose the internal struggles that the theory ignited through a whole century. Ferreira describes the battles, enmities and vendettas that surround the theory, how it gets entangled with the high points of the story and how it has been informed about what the universe is made of.

The conference will be given in English with simultaneous translation

Free access prior registration. Registration until 2:00 pm on the day of the conference

Program:
7:00 pm: accreditations
7:30 pm: conference at the Santiago Grisolía auditorium
8:30 pm: end of the conference and start of the conference
9:00 pm: end of activity

Access to the activity will be made through the west door of the ground floor of the Museu (next to the Hemisfèric)
