Jun 15, 2020
The first visitors to the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències since its reopening last 1 June have, for the first time, been able to enjoy visits to the cantilever of the Museu de les Ciències.
From this Monday, 15 June, these visits, which are included in the tickets to the Museu de les Ciències have been opened up to groups of up to 20 people.
In addition, from 15 to 28 June, tickets to the Museu de les Ciències will have a flat, affordable price of 4 euros. In this way, the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències wishes to continue promoting visits to the Museu, adapting the price due to the limitations imposed on the tactile use of modules as a result of health and hygiene measures.
Among the changes, in addition to the visits to the terrace outside the Museu de les Ciències that looks out toward the Umbracle, are visits to the new exhibitions 'Together we can achieve it', produced by the Children's Counsil of the Museu de les Ciències, and 'Facing change, let's change', both devoted to the fight against climate change.
More than 57,000 visitors
Since opening its doors to the public this past 1 June, a total of 52,806 people have visited the Museu de les Ciències, while the Hemisfèric, with a more limited capacity, has recorded a total audience of 4,263 people in the same period.
The facilities of the Museu and the Hemisfèric, the first in Spain to receive the 'Safe Tourism Certified' seal awarded by the Institute of Quality Spanish Tourism (ICTE), have been adapted to guarantee the safety of visitors and staff with health and hygiene measures, protective barriers and signage to permit social distancing.
