Enrique Vidal explained the situation at the complex and the actions undertaken for its reopening to the king

The General Director of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, Enrique Vidal, participated in the videoconference the king held with representatives of cultural institutions in the Valencian Community this past Thursday. The virtual meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Board of the Queen Sofia Palace of the Arts, Pablo Font de Mora, the President of the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community, Daniela González Almansa, and the Grand Master of the Guild of Falla Artists, José Ramón Espuig.

Enrique Vidal explained to the king that, after being closed for two months, the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències is gradually reopening to the public and has implemented a post-COVID-19 reopening plan that includes the health and hygiene measures needed to guarantee the safety of visitors and staff. He also told him that the Museu de les Ciències and the Hemisfèric have received the 'Safe Tourism Certified' seal of the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), that certifies the popular education complex as a safe place to visit.
