The Museo de las Ciencias hosts the 'Félix, 25 years of ecological awareness exhibition'
Dec 14, 2006

The exhibition, which can be seen on the third floor of the Museo de las Ciencias until 25th March, pays tribute to the importance of Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente as a pioneer in environmental education and in protecting nature and presents an up-to-date view of the situation of protected natural spaces and of the state of the woods, rivers and lands of our country, as well as showing the evolution of environmental culture on Spanish society over the last 25 years.
With curators Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente and Dionisio Romero, the director and manager of the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Foundation, the exhibition has received the collaboration of the scientific committee made up of some of the most outstanding Spanish experts in the field of biological conservation, including the advisors of the BBVA Miguel Delibes Foundation (Doñana Biological station), Montserrat Gomendio (National natural sciences Museum), and Carlos Duarte (oceanographer of IMEDEA).
Several of Félix’ closest collaborator have also participated in the design of the exhibition, such as the designer Josechu Lalanda. The simulation of rivers, lands and even a wood, various sequences of cinematographic and television works, new photographic material, make up, among other visual items, this interactive exhibition that also includes original sound material from Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente
