The Eclèctic Festival of the City of the Arts and Sciences ends with the concert ¿Cosmic Imagism¿ (IAC 2006)

The Eclèctic Festival of the City of the Arts and Sciences ends this Tuesday (25 June) with the concert Cosmic Imagism in which soloists from the Mediterranean Symphony Orchestra will interpret Façade, a bold piece that was composed by William Walton in 1922.  
The Eclèctic Festival of the City of the Arts and Sciences ends with the concert ¿Cosmic Imagism¿ (IAC 2006) "Cosmic Imagism" can be viewed free as long as there is room at 22:30 hours in the Red Sea Auditorium of the Oceanogràfic. It is sponsored by the Bancaja bank and is also part of the cultural activities organised on the occasion of the 57th International Astronautics Congress (IAC-2006) that will be held in the City of the Arts and Sciences from 2 to 6 October.

Last weekend the City of the Arts and Sciences successfully staged "Eclèctic Nit" on Friday 21 July, a free event which consists of nine continuous hours of a succession of various cultural and artistic offerings including concerts, music, dance, and street theatre. On Sunday night at 23:00 hours the Pet Shop Boys, a group that inspired hundreds of bands in the 1990s, played live to introduce the songs from their latest record outside the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum.
