The Museu de les Ciències offers tickets at 50% off for music groups for the new exhibition 'Play. Science and music'

The Museu de les Ciències offers tickets with a 50% discount for persons involved in music, an offer aimed at that group on the occasion of the new, interactive exhibition 'Play, Science and music', opened a week ago, which deals with the relationships between the arts and sciences and teaches elements of physics, biology and mathematics through music.

Students and teachers from education centres and music schools, including those not officially recognised, professionals from the music world and members of music bands can take advantage of this offer

To receive this discount, membership in this group must be demonstrated by presenting relevant documentation (registration from the centre which they attend, card or stamped document from the band confirming that they are a member). This is applicable only on the general and reduced admission fees in ticket offices. Reservations can also be made by calling 96 197 46 86

The 'Play. Science and Music' exhibition is produced by the "Parque de las Ciencias de Granada" in collaboration with the "Museo Interactivo de la Música de Málaga" (MIMMA). The showing deals with the relationships between the arts and sciences, and teaches physics, biology and mathematics through music, at the same time it explains music through different scientific disciplines.

To see vocal cords in action, set the tempo of an orchestra, compose and perform with different string and percussion instruments, or a virtual harp, are some of the proposals in the exhibition which also has the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).
