Five specimens of the Bull Ray (Pteromylaeus bovinus), which belongs to the eagle ray family, have been included in the Ocean Tunnel of the Oceanogràfic of the City of the Arts and Sciences. The largest weighs 36 kilograms and with its wings extended has a total length of some 1.30 metres.
Five specimens of the Bull Ray join the Ocean Tunnel of the Oceanogràfic Vistors to the Oceanogràfic can therefore observe a new species in the Ocean Tunnel; this is the largest aquarium at the Oceanogràfic and with its 7 million litres of water represents the Atlantic Ocean. The Bull Ray is a pelagic and cartilaginous species that feeds on crustaceans and molluscs such as mussels and clams.

This incorporation of these five specimens enriches the biological collection of the Ocean Tunnel, which holds over twenty grey reef and bull sharks, and specimens of the guitarfish, sawfish, violet stingray, ocean sunfish, and barracuda, together with large shoals of fish such as horse mackerel, cottonmouth jack, and bonitos.
