English CAC calls the 6th Graphic Design Competition

The City of the Arts and Sciences has called the 6th Graphic Design Competition for designers aged 30 or under. Those young people interested in taking part must present a representative image of the City of the Arts and Sciences or of the contents of this emblematic project of the Valencian Generalitat.
The thirteen best pieces of work, which must be presented on a hard background 30 x 21 cm (height x width), will earn a cash prize of 600 € each, and will be used to illustrate the cover and each of the months of the year of the diary and calendar that will be published by C.A.C.S.A. for 2005.
The jury will consist of members of the Association of Designers of the Region of Valencia, of the Valencia School of Higher Art and Design, of the Valencia Modern Art Institute (Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno, IVAM), of the Higher Technical School of Engineering Design of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), and of the City of the Arts and Sciences.
The pieces of work may be presented up to Friday 23 December at 14:00 hours, either sent by post or delivered by hand, at the offices of the City of the Arts and Sciences at the Prolongación Paseo de la Alameda, 48, entresuelo, 46023 Valencia.
Only one design must be sent in by each author, and this should have an envelope on the back in which is indicated his/her name, age, address, telephone number, e-mail, and institution where the author studies, and an identifying theme on the outside.
