Entrance to the Museu de les Ciències and the Hemisfèric of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències will be free from 1 to 14 June

The facilities are already prepared with the measures needed to guarantee the safety and trust of our visitors and personnel.

Monday, 1 June, the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències will reopen to the public both the Museu de les Ciències and the Hemisfèric, spaces where the final preparations are being completed for the much-anticipated re-encounter with science.

In order that all Valencians can enjoy this re-encounter, entrance to both spaces will be free until 14 June, and reservations can be made online at www.cac.es or through the visitor service number 96 197 46 86, in order to avoid crowds and unnecessary waiting.

In accordance with the safety regulations adopted, tours of the Museu shall be made via one-way routes, and the exhibition items for tactile use will be disabled. In the Hemisfèric, with 41 seats available in order to assure space between viewers, the following films will be screened: ’Secrets of the Universe’, Volcanos’, ’Apollo 11: First Steps’, ’Walking among dinosaurs: prehistoric planet 3D’, ’Planet Power’ and ’Journey to space: next stop Mars’.   

Reopening plan

More than 24 dispensers of gel in public use areas, entrances and various point in the facilities, one-way routes and special signage, reductions in and monitoring of capacity, in addition to protective barriers, are some of the primary measures adopted.
All these regulations are compiled in the reopening protocol of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, which has been developed keeping in mind the guide for Measures for reduction in the transmission of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-02 for Museums and Heritage Sites, developed by the Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism (ICTE), as well as the directions of the competent authorities.
