Jun 14, 2019
From Saturday 29 June to 8 September, the Science Museum will open from 10am to 9pm, and the Hemisfèric will release new film listings and extend daily screenings. From 12 July to 31 August, 'Nights at the Oceanogràfic'' will be held, paying tribute to The Beatles.
Exhibitions to look out for in the Science Museum are 'Mars: The Conquest of a Dream', 'Talking Brains' and ‘Chromosome Forest'.
Harry Potter fans have the opportunity to visit 'Harry Potter™: The Exhibition' until 11 August, a 1,500-square metre travelling exhibition with scenes inspired by the Hogwarts™ sets, where they can be surprised by the incredible manual and artistic work hidden behind the scenes, props and original fantasy creatures in the films.
Under an initiative by the Hortensia Herrero Foundation, an exhibition by the artist Jaume Plensa will open on 26 June outside the complex in the south ern lake. On this occasion, the exhibition will consist of seven unique sculptures, each seven metres tall and made of cast iron.
The Space Simulator has two sessions in English: one at 12pm and the other at 4:30pm.
During 'Nights at the Oceanogràfic', we will travel round the world with the Beatles' yellow submarine. This audiovisual journey with synchronised swimming, dancing and dolphins will play the songs of the Liverpool quartet to raise awareness of the marine world and the need to protect it.
The Hemisfèric proposes the premiere of the film 'Apollo 11. First Steps' in the IMAX DOME for this summer on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of this mission’s arrival on the moon.
