The latest discoveries in interneuron neurobiology are to be presented and discussed tomorrow, Tuesday 26th May, in the “Understanding Interneurons” day to be held in the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum. This will include cortical microcircuits, the regulation of inhibitory networks, the development of interneurons, and their role in neurological disorders.

This initiative, which will be run next June and July in fourth sessions, is aimed at children who have studied any Primary school’s academic year from September 2008 to June 2009.

The City of Arts and Sciences has welcomed a total of 235,000 visitors over Easter. To be precise, 120,000 people visited the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum, 34,000 spectators attended the projections of the Hemisfèric, and 81,000 visitors viewed the installations of the Oceanográfico.
