"Guerreros de Xian" en el Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe

Hasta el 5 de abril, Bancaja trae al Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe, "Guerreros de Xi´an. Tesoros de las dinastías Qin y Han", la mayor muestra de arte funerario chino, considerada como la octava maravilla del mundo. Con esta exposición, Bancaja ha querido conmemorar el 10º aniversario de su Fundación.

Today, Thursday the 17th of February, the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum is holding a debate on the European Constitution. The Santiago Grisolía Auditorium at the Museum will be the venue for lectures, debates and discussions on the European Constitutional Treaty.

L´Hemisfèric acoge el estreno mundial de la película El Misterio del Nilo

L¿Hemisfèric de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias ha presentado hoy la nueva película documental en gran formato ¿El Misterio del Nilo¿, el primer largometraje español realizado en gran formato que se estrena a nivel mundial en Valencia y que a partir de mañana se incorpora a la programación de L´Hemisfèric. Además, el público podrá visitar, en el hall de L¿Hemisfèric, una exposición de fotografías de la expedición realizadas por el fotógrafo Michel L¿Huillier.

On Thursday the 3rd of February, L’Hemisfèric at the City of Arts and Sciences will host the world premiere of the large-format documentary film “Mystery of the Nile”, the first feature-length large-format film to be produced in Spain, written, produced and directed by Jordi Llompart and to be incorporated in the regular sessions at L’Hemisfèric.

El Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe acoge mañana jueves, 20 de enero a las 19.00 horas la conferencia ¿Arquitectura cósmica: la construcción del Universo¿ impartida por el director del Instituto de Cosmología Computacional de la Universidad de Durham (Reino Unido), Carlos S. Frenk. La conferencia se celebrará en el Auditorio Santiago Grisolía y la entrada es libre.

Giant squid at ¿Tuesdays at L´Oceanogràfic¿

The City of Arts and Sciences tomorrow continues its “Tuesdays at L’Oceanogràfic” series with the lecture “Giant squid in the depths”, given by Angel Guerra of the Marine Research Institute of the CSIS. It will be held tomorrow, Tuesday the 18th of January at 6pm in the Auditorio del Mar Rojo. Cephalopod biology will be the central themes of the talk, which will be preceded by a documentary film.

A second penguin is born at l´Oceanogràfic in the City of Arts and Sciences

L’Oceanogràfic at the City of Arts and Sciences has a new resident: a penguin chick born in the Antarctic exhibition, specifically in one of the eight nests placed in the section recreating the rocky cliffs with nesting and breeding areas for this species.
