The Science Museum holds a new exhibition on the machines of Leonardo da Vinci
From today and until the 24th February, the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum is holding an exhibition entitled "Leonardo’s Machines". It displays 12 sculptural machines and reproductions of the drawings made 400 years ago by Leonardo da Vinci.

Over 2,000 people observe the annular eclipse of the Sun from the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum
At the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum today over 2,000 people observed the annular eclipse of the Sun, considered the most important astronomic phenomenon of the year. The City of Arts and Sciences, as part of the astronomy programme provided free to the public, set up the observation with telescopes on the northern terrace of the Science Museum. There were considerable crowds gathered from early in the morning.

From today, Friday the 16th September, L’Hemisfèric at the City of Arts and Sciences is incorporating the IMAX film “Dolphins” into its film schedule, with sessions at 11 am and 6 pm from Monday to Sunday and also at 8 pm on Fridays and weekends. Nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary, the film narrates the journey from the Bahamas to Argentine Patagonia of a team of researchers studying the communication and social behaviour of dolphins. L´Hemisfèric is also renovating its offer with the live planetarium shows it has itself produced, “The New Star”, aimed at children.

The regional secretary for Events and Projects, Luis Lobón, the Director General of the City of the Arts and Sciences, Jorge Vela, and the Managing Director of Levante UD, Julio Romero, today presented the Levante UD sponsorship agreement for the 2005-2006 season, which will be part of the initiative of the Valencia Generalitat to sponsor second division Valencian teams.
