RULES FOR SCHOOL GROUPS

To make your visit easier to organise, please read this leaflet carefully:

RULES FOR THE VISIT OF SCHOOL GROUPS TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

1. It is necessary to comply with the general rules of the City of Arts and Sciences.
2. It is not permitted to access the exhibition area with backpacks. On an exceptional basis, it will be possible to leave backpacks in the school cloakroom.
3. The Umbracle has a free picnic area from Monday to Friday, equipped with vending machines It is necessary to book this space in advance. Each group shall have 45 minutes use of this space, starting at the reserved time. Following this period, it is necessary to leave the space.
4. Museum Workshops, via prior booking. Consult the specific rules for each of them.
5. The Kid´s Space: an interactive space for children aged between 3 and 8.

 


OTHER GROUPS VISITING THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

1. Consult the general rules and the specific rules of the Science Museum before your visit
2. Consult the rules of complementary offers.
3. Booking the Kid´s Space: an interactive space for children aged 3 to 8. 
4. Booking the Science on Stage workshops: an activity recommended for children over the age of 8.
5. Verify that the collection point for your booking is the Science Museum and arrive 20 minutes in advance.
6. In the Museu de les Ciències we have a free cloakroom service on the first floor as long as the luggage is small.

8. Museum guided visit: Advance booking. Maximum group number is 25 people per guide. The visit lasts 1h 30mins.
9. Panoramic guided visit to the City of Arts and Sciences: advance booking. Maximum group number is 30 people per guide. The visit lasts 1h 30mins. Look up timetable.

2. Verify that the collection point for your booking is the Hemisfèric and turn up 20 minutes in advance.
3. The hall has a limited capacity. It is necessary to report the number of people with reduced mobility in advance, in order to book the spaces that are properly equipped.
