LES BANDES A LA CIUTAT

The Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències and the Federation of Music Associations of the Valencian Community (FSMCV in its Spanish initialism) have started the "Les bandes a La Ciutat" concert series, a series of free-admission performances by small musical groups from the federated musical societies of the Valencian Community.

The area outside the Museu de les Ciències will be filled with live music by bands from the Community Saturday afternoons. An activity that parallels and complements the Museu’s exhibition content related to music, such as the exhibition “Play. Science and Music”, and which allows the public to know the musical societies' organisation, considered a unique artistic, educational, and social movement in the world.
