El Consejo de la Infancia está formado por niños y niñas de primaria que ayudan a mejorar el Museu de les Ciències con sus propuestas

The Council is composed of 5th and 6th primary school students from centers in the Valencian Community who wish to collaborate closely with the Museum, with the aim of improving its functioning from a child's point of view.

The children give their opinions about the exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, activities, the facilities, the services of the Museum, etc., and they also contribute ideas about new contents.

Throughout the school year, the counselors meet four times in order to contribute their ideas to improve the Museum. The meetings have their agenda and minutes.

This initiative is part of the project of the Italian pedagogue Francesco Tonucci "The city of children" that tries to humanize cities by applying the vision of children. In addition, the Children's Council of the Museu works in a network with the corresponding Children's Councils of the Science Park of Granada and the Blau Museum in Barcelona.

Our counselors have many advantages such as having free access to the facilities of the Museum and the Hemisféric, being invited to the inaugurations of the exhibitions and workshops, or having their center receive a special School Center Program (PEC) card.

Currently the Children's Council is composed of  students from the following centers:

- Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados de Nazaret
- Centro Educativo Juan Comenius
- Colegio Público Luis Vives
- Colegio Santiago Apóstol de Valencia
- Colegio Pío XII
