The Príncipe Felipe Science Museum has become a world reference point for interactive science and one of the most visited destinations in the country, with over 27 million visitors since its inauguration in 2000. Its main objective is stimulating curiosity and critical thinking and at the same time surprising and amusing the public by its contents from the world of science, technology, and the environment.

Segunda edición del concurso 'Cristalización en la Escuela' dirigido a estudiantes de Secundaria y Bachillerato

a Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias y la Universitat Jaume I colaboran por segundo año consecutivo en la organización del concurso 'Cristalización en la Escuela' dirigido a estudiantes de segundo ciclo de Secundaria y Bachillerato. El plazo de inscripción finaliza el 20 de enero de 2015 y la final se celebrará el 15 de mayo de 2015 en el Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe.

¿Quieres ser astronauta? ¿Sueñas con viajar al espacio? Consigue tu 'Pasaporte del Espacio'

La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias con la Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA) pone en marcha la 'Escuela del Espacio' que enmarca una amplia oferta de actividades, exposiciones y contenidos de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias relacionadas con la astronomía. De esta manera se pone a disposición del visitante el 'Pasaporte del Espacio' para que vaya realizando las actividades propuestas y así formar parte de la 'Escuela del Espacio'.

¿Os gustaría participar en las propuestas que desarrollamos en el Museo de las Ciencias? En este foro alumnos y profesores de 4ºy 5º de Primaria pueden opinar sobre las exposiciones, talleres, demostraciones, actividades del Museo y aportar ideas sobre nuevos contenidos.Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados de Nazaret, el Colegio Internacional Ausias March, Nuestra Señora del Rosario Castellar-Oliveral y el Colegio Abad Solá ya forman parte del Consejo.

Desafío Robot 2015: convocada la séptima edición del evento tecnológico dedicado a la robótica

En 'Desafío Robot' se implica a profesores y alumnos para llevar a cabo un proyecto tecnológico relacionado con la robótica y promover el uso de las nuevas tecnologías entre los jóvenes. El robot que diseñen competirá en diferentes pruebas en la jornada que acogerá el Museo el viernes 8 de mayo de 2015.

Visit Zero Gravity at the Science Museum and wrap yourself in the stars

This exhibition includes an amazing cube room covered by a bunch of mirrors projecting real images of the cosmos and the Earth seen from space. You will observe our planet as an astronaut from the International Space Station, and also fascinating images captured by telescopes and space satellites.

Sciences Museum's services

Discover all services at the Sciences Museum

  • Free-Flow Restaurant . The Museum has a Free-Flow Restaurant open from 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. on weekends, holydays and high session with views to the River Turia gardens. The restaurant can hold up to 112 diners. Telephone number 961.974.429
  • Cafeteria.The Museum has a cafeteria in the Calle Major (Main Street) that stays open until the Museum closes.
  • Bookshop. At the Bookshop, the visitor can also purchase publications produced by the City of Arts and Sciences.
  • Guided tours. Enjoy a guided tour of the exhibitions and of our magnificent building in which you will find out interesting and curious information.
  • Ticket offices. The Museum has various admission ticket offices for the different buildings of the City of Arts and Sciences, where information and advice on ticket purchases can also be obtained.
