The Príncipe Felipe Science Museum has become a world reference point for interactive science and one of the most visited destinations in the country, with over 30,7 million visitors since its inauguration in 2000. Its main objective is stimulating curiosity and critical thinking and at the same time surprising and amusing the public by its contents from the world of science, technology, and the environment.

Consejo de los niños de la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències

¿Queréis convertiros en 'asesores' del Museu de les Ciències junto con nuestro Comité de Expertos? ¿Te gustaría que tus alumnos participen en las propuestas que desarrollamos en él? El Consejo de los Niños es una iniciativa dirigida a alumnos de 5º y 6º de Primaria de centros de la Comunitat Valenciana que deseen colaborar con el Museu para que nos trasladen sus intereses.

Severo Ochoa 'The Legacy of Science'

DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Príncipe Felipe Science Museum is the custodian of his scientific legacy

The second floor of the Museum hosts a permanent exhibition, 'The Legacy of Science', which pays tribute to Professor Severo Ochoa, together with two Nobel Prizes, the Spanish Santiago Ramon y Cajal, and Frenchman Jean Dausset. Of these, it takes a chronological journey, showing his life and the evolution of their research. The Asturian scientific legacy consists of diplomas, appointments, plaques, medals, representative objects and awarded honors, including the Nobel Prize medal.

Por segundo año consecutivo, la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències con la Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA) pone en marcha la 'Escuela del Espacio' que enmarca una amplia oferta de actividades, exposiciones y contenidos de la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències relacionadas con la astronomía. De esta manera se pone a disposición del visitante el 'Pasaporte del Espacio' para que vaya realizando las actividades propuestas y así formar parte de la 'Escuela del Espacio'.

Tercera edición del concurso 'Cristalización en la Escuela' dirigido a estudiantes de Secundaria y Bachillerato

La Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències y la Universitat Jaume I colaboran por tercer año consecutivo en la organización del concurso 'Cristalización en la Escuela' dirigido a estudiantes de segundo ciclo de Secundaria y Bachillerato. El plazo de inscripción finaliza el 12 de enero de 2016 y la final se celebrará el 13 de mayo de 2016 en el Museu de les Ciències.

Visit Zero Gravity at the Science Museum and wrap yourself in the stars

This exhibition includes an amazing cube room covered by a bunch of mirrors projecting real images of the cosmos and the Earth seen from space. You will observe our planet as an astronaut from the International Space Station, and also fascinating images captured by telescopes and space satellites.

  • Free-Flow Restaurant . The Museum has a Free-Flow Restaurant with views to the River Turia gardens. The restaurant can hold up to 112 diners. Reservations - please call 96 / 197.55.00 or contact us marketing@oceanografic.org.
  • Cafeteria.The Museum has a cafeteria in the Calle Major (Main Street) that stays open until the Museum closes.
  • Bookshop. At the Bookshop, the visitor can also purchase publications produced by the City of Arts and Sciences.
  • Guided tours. Enjoy a guided tour of the exhibitions and of our magnificent building in which you will find out interesting and curious information.
  • Ticket offices. The Museum has various admission ticket offices for the different buildings of the City of Arts and Sciences, where information and advice on ticket purchases can also be obtained.
