The Príncipe Felipe Science Museum has become a world reference point for interactive science and one of the most visited destinations in the country, with over 25 million visitors since its inauguration in 2000. Its main objective is stimulating curiosity and critical thinking and at the same time surprising and amusing the public by its contents from the world of science, technology, and the environment.

Exhibition
Star Trek. Welcome Aboard
The 'Enterprise' has landed at the Science Museum, here in Europe for the very first time, with a new exhibition on this classic TV series. You can pilot the starship from the control bridge and visit a set that will beam you up to the 23rd century in search of strange new worlds. The exhibition includes costumes and original props, a lifesize recreation of the control bridge, models and real items and audiovisual contents.

IDEA MAGAZINE
Did you know that 100 loggerhead turtles have been nursed back to health and returned to the sea by the team at the Oceanogràfic? And that the Sun shines much stronger now than it did three million years ago; nothing less than 25% more? Have you ever wondered what animals think about? Do you know the opera ¿Salome¿? Check out the latest edition of the revista IDEA (magazine in Spanish). It includes articles on science and culture, new technologies, the environment, art and research.
Science entertaiment
Electricity theatre
In front of an auditorium with an audience of fifty or so, a scientific entertainer is attempt to improve their understanding of concepts related to physical phenomena that produce electricity. Bells that ring without touching them, candles that go out with a metallic wand without the need to blow, jumping rings, or electric arcs that cross space are some of the experiences that will literally make our hair stand on end.

...inside the dome of the Paris Pantheon, Foucault suspended a pendulum 67 metres long from which hung a cannonball weighing 28 kilos and with which he demonstrated that the Earth rotates on its own axis?

- Free-Flow Restaurant . The Museum has a Free-Flow Restaurant open from 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. on weekends, holydays and high session with views to the River Turia gardens. The restaurant can hold up to 112 diners. Telephone number 961.974.429
- Cafeteria.The Museum has a cafeteria in the Calle Major (Main Street) that stays open until the Museum closes.
- Bookshop. At the Bookshop, the visitor can also purchase publications produced by the City of Arts and Sciences.
- Guided tours. Enjoy a guided tour of the exhibitions and of our magnificent building in which you will find out interesting and curious information.
- Ticket offices. The Museum has various admission ticket offices for the different buildings of the City of Arts and Sciences, where information and advice on ticket purchases can also be obtained.
