La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias is a recreational space where cultural plays the leading role and its museum activity is based on three major subject areas: Science, Art and Nature. In accordance with its objective to make learning fun, its 350.000 sq/m surface area encompasses the Palau de les Arts, L’Umbracle, el Museu de les Ciéncies Principe Felipe, L’Hemisfèric and L’Oceanogràfic.

The largest marine park in Europe. L’Oceanogràfic allows the visitor to submerge into the oceans and get to know the marine fauna and flora of the planet’s most representative climatic zones.
