RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES FOR THE VISITS OF SCHOOL GROUPS

To make your visit easier to organise, please read this leaflet carefully:



RECOMMENDATIONS APPLYING TO THE THREE SECTIONS

  • 1. Consult the general rules of the City of Arts and Sciences and the rules of each building, before your visit.
  • 2. Check the meeting point for your group (Museum, Hemisfèric or Oceanogràfic). Arriving in advance is recommended.
  • 3. In organized school visits, children must be supervised by an adult at all times. It is not allowed to run inside the buildings.
  • 4. Lunch reservations: Book in advance.
    • Museum: Contact us a week in advanced by phoning 96 197 44 29 or sending a fax to 96 197 44 79.
    • Hemisfèric: Contact us a week in advanced by phoning 96 197 46 49 or sending a fax to 96 197 46 29.
    • Oceanogràfic: The meeting point with the guide is on the upper floor of the Access building. The maximum number per guide is 30 people; the visit lasts 1h30 minutes.
  • 5. Guided tours: Book in advance or buy directly from the ticket offices (subject to availability).
    • Museum: The meeting point with the guide is in front of the Bookings Desk. The maximum number per guide is 35 people; the visit lasts 1h30 minutes.
    • Hemisfèric: The maximum number per group is 30 people per guide. The visit lasts 45 minutes.
    • Oceanogràfic: El punto de encuentro con el guía es en el edificio de acceso planta superior. Número máximo por grupo 30 personas por guía. Duración de la visita 1h30.
  • 6. Teachers' day: Book in advance.
    In order to prepare the visit with the students, we suggest that teachers book an initial free session during which our personnel will be at your disposal and will accompany you in your visit to the installations. You can consult the available dates of every building and realize your inscription in our web page: www.cac.es/didactica or phoning 902 100 031.
  • 7. Workshops: Book in advance.
    If the group should be delayed, the activity contracted will finish at the time originally arranged so that the groups contracting the following time slots will not be penalised.
