RULES FOR SCHOOL GROUPS

To make your visit easier to organise, please read this leaflet carefully:

RULES FOR THE VISIT OF SCHOOL GROUPS TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

1. It is necessary to comply with the general rules of the City of Arts and Sciences.
2. It is not permitted to access the exhibition area with backpacks. On an exceptional basis, it will be possible to leave backpacks in the school cloakroom.
3. The Umbracle has a free picnic area from Monday to Friday, equipped with vending machines It is necessary to book this space in advance. Each group shall have 45 minutes use of this space, starting at the reserved time. Following this period, it is necessary to leave the space.
4. Museum Workshops, via prior booking. Consult the specific rules for each of them.
5. The Kid´s Space: an interactive space for children aged between 3 and 8. It is essential to send a list with those attending to the fax 96 197 44 78, indicating the date of the visit, name and age of the pupils.
6. Science on Stage Workshops: an activity recommended for children over the age of 8.
7. Cooking for Kids: an activity recommended for children aged 6 to 12.


OTHER GROUPS VISITING THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

1. Consult the general rules and the specific rules of the Science Museum before your visit
2. Consult the rules of complementary offers.
3. Booking the Kid´s Space: an interactive space for children aged 3 to 8. It is necessary to send a list of attendees to the fax 96 197 44 78, indicating the date of the visit, name and age of the school children.
4. Booking the Science on Stage workshops: an activity recommended for children over the age of 8.
5. Verify that the collection point for your booking is the Science Museum and arrive 20 minutes in advance.
6. If necessary, use the free cloakroom service. In order to use this service, consult the information point.
7. Booking meals: contact the telephone number 96 197 44 29 one week in advance or send a request via fax to 96 197 44 79.
8. Museum guided visit: Advance booking or direct sale at ticket offices (subject to availability). Maximum group number is 20 people per guide. The visit lasts 1h 30mins.
9. Panoramic guided visit to the City of Arts and Sciences: advance booking or direct sale at the ticket offices (subject to availability). Maximum group number is 30 people per guide. The visit lasts 1h 30mins. Look up timetable.
 
RULES FOR THE VISIT OF SCHOOL GROUPS TO THE HEMISFÈRIC


1. It is recommended to arrive 20 minutes in advance.
2. It is recommended that the teacher hands out tickets in advance before heading to the turnstiles. In the event that there is little time, before the end of the session, the teacher should hand all the tickets to the turnstile staff.
 
OTHER GROUPS VISITING THE HEMISFÈRIC

1. Consult the general rules and the specific rules of the Hemisfèric before visiting.
2. Verify that the collection point for your booking is the Hemisfèric and turn up 20 minutes in advance.
3. The hall has a limited capacity. It is necessary to report the number of people with reduced mobility in advance, in order to book the spaces that are properly equipped.
4. Booking meals: contact the telephone number 96 197 46 49 one week in advance or send a request via fax to 96 197 46 29.
5. Guided visit of Hemisfèric: via prior booking (subject to availability). Maximum group number is 25-30 people per guide. The visit lasts for 45 minutes.
6. Panoramic guided visit to the City of Arts and Sciences: advance booking or direct sale at the ticket offices (subject to availability). Maximum group number is 30 people per guide. The visit lasts 1h 30mins. Look up timetable.
